So What If We Not Score a Triple Century, We are the best

So What If we Not Score a Triple Century, We are the best.

2012 and the starting ’13 both have got some sad news from cricketing world. Mostly from batters who
Have retired from International cricket Like Dravid, Laxman, Sachin(In ODI’s), Ponting and this year first person Hussey. All of them were wonderful to watch when they come out to bat for their nation. But it is surprising that all of these great names and institution of batting techniques have never made a triple century. Now that is something ridiculously uncommon between them.
Highest scores of the above players in test cricket:

Sachin Tendulkar-248*
Ricky Ponting-257
Rahul Dravid-270
VVS LAXMAN-281
Mike Hussey-195*
In contrast to them those who have learn cricket from them, played with them and were the great fan of their techniques have scored 300. Like Sehwag who is the biggest fan of 10dulkar as well as of the other two Indian batsman has made it two times, Clarke who has learn a lot from Ponting and wants to be like him did it last year against India. Still Tendulkar has its test career but he will be contended to score a useful runs rather than a long-mark of triple century. And if we see the batsman of same era who retires before them a couple of years ago having like Jausuriya(340), Lara(400*), Inzamam(329) and Hayden(380) they all has made triple century. And if we see the coming era of batsman which will retire after them having Younus Khan, Sehwag, Mahela Jaywardane, Gayle, Clarke they all have triple centuries in their pockets. Kallis is out of the topic as he is the best all-rounders who will be known as a complete high profile all-rounder not as a high profile batsman or bowler so just put him aside. Considering about Sangakarra he is still left to score a triple century although he touches that feat by scoring 287. Perhaps, one has to sacrifice among the two partners. As Hussey didn’t make triple century but his partner made it. Also in case of, Sangakarra-Jayawardnae and Younus Khan-Muhammad Yousuf.
Triple Century is a great honor and a milestone for a batsman and you can’t rebuff from it. It is only Lara who denies it by scoring a 400 knock in international test matches and 500 knock in the first class. It brightens your batting career and it put a great pressure on the opponents that there is someone who can score all day by himself.Conclusively, Triple Century is not the only milestone which will make you a great batsman. It is although a bloody single most wanted inning which comes under the caps of few. It shows the sign(s) of peaks in the graph of your career and the time when you were the best in the world.

Getting a triple century definitely means that you have recorded your name among the finest batsman
in the world. But not scoring, will not make you small even by microns; perhaps if you did other things right.
There are list of many great batsmen who have never scored a triple century like Gavaskar, Miandad, Steve Waugh and tons of others and they all are regarded as a greatest batsman in the world. It is just a bloody desirable milestone for every player who plays test cricket.
May be Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting never desires for that….
